Not funny at all at the time, but quite funny 10 or so years later.Dayle ~ A Collection of Dayshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01727194212928446402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5217619765473559269.post-12118177908541976252013-02-26T08:10:09.377-06:002013-02-26T08:10:09.377-06:00We have skunks by the dozen here- way too many!!!We have skunks by the dozen here- way too many!!!Shellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04930262815304757150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5217619765473559269.post-87565389329068903332013-02-26T07:09:28.243-06:002013-02-26T07:09:28.243-06:00My hubby borrows a friend's trailer to move th...My hubby borrows a friend's trailer to move the skunks. He sets the skunk, trap and all, on the trailer and off they go. Oh, did you know, if you cover the trap with a blanket, a skunk won't spray. We have had some funny and close calls when he went to throw the blanket on the trap and missed. Usually because of wind. lol. Touchy time retrieving it and trying again.Smalltowngiggleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17763018749496405577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5217619765473559269.post-68814022032408092342013-02-25T20:10:04.225-06:002013-02-25T20:10:04.225-06:00Right. I think he may be hibernating under our deck....I dont mind the smell if they are just passing through but not too happy if someone scares it. They are cute and I bet would make a good pet if deskunked. My neighbour is not so happy with our friend but he doesn't seem to like any wildlife around his garden.
Oh well I do...............so I feed them
JaniceJanice Kay Schaubhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01218296462551967972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5217619765473559269.post-20213169043374626132013-02-25T12:06:33.035-06:002013-02-25T12:06:33.035-06:00When my son hit a skunk in Dec., Nookworm sent me ...When my son hit a skunk in Dec., Nookworm sent me a link for a PBS video about a man who takes wounded skunks or abandoned skunks...and he is immune to the odor. They also put tracking devices on skunks somewhere on the east coast, I think, and tracked them to see if they traveled far. I wish I could find the link, but I can't. I just looked. It seems like they said they traveled 5 miles in a night....and they had several dens along the way, I think. Leave It To Davishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10510401202733633537noreply@blogger.com
