Colorado in the Fall

A couple of weeks ago hubby and I went to one of our favorite vacation places, Colorado. We were hoping we weren't too late to see some fall color but we sure didn't plan on seeing so much snow. The morning we got to Colorado, the Eisenhower tunnel was closed because of heavy snow. Thankfully snow this early in Colorado melts off fast. We had a beautiful view of Fall and Winter on our way to Estes Park. Had a great time but glad to be home where I have a fireplace. It was a bit chilly in the mountains

Beautiful view of fresh snow on the mountains

The mountains are so awe inspiring.

  1. What a beautiful trip! That would be a swell time of year to visit the mountains.

  2. It was beautiful. We woke up early one morning( on Iowa time) peeked out the window and felt like we were in a snow globe. Melted off with the snow came up.
