Giant pink ball in the sky.

Our weather here in Iowa has just been beautiful. Reminds me of fall. Our daytime temps have been in the upper 70’s or low 80’s and night in the upper 50’s. A blanket this morning felt great. The morning chill, 55 degrees, made one what to stay in bed a bit longer. If we could just get some needed rain, it would be perfect.

I took this picture yesterday evening at sunset. Not sure why the sun looked pink. I wonder if it has something to do with the fires in the west. It sure was a unique sunset. A giant pink ball in the evening sky.

Amazing,
Rose

  1. Oh my gosh, Rose! Those are simply amazing photos! I'm hardly ever speechless ... but they rendered me speechless. What beauty we enjoy in this old world of ours. God's artwork never disappoints.

  4. I missed blogging. The other evening, I took the time to read the blogs I follow and it made me realize it was time to get back to it.

  5. I almost missed the pink sun the other night. Hubby had just dished up some DQ ice cream and I went to rinse off the scoop and happened to look out the winter and there it was, almost behind the tall corn. I grabbed my camera and ran out. Came back to a bowl of melted ice cream. Yes, God is good.

  6. Wow. The moon was pretty here, too, but I don't think I saw it looking pink.
It has felt like fall--and too early for me!!!
